The 2012 IWGL Season

The IWGL welcomes new members. The annual membership fee is $25.00 for regular season and alternate players. The 16 week golf season begins the first week of May and continues through August. Tee times range from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., depending on the golf course. Registration will begin in February for the 2012 season. New courses added for 2012 include Prairie View, Winding River, and Oak Tree in Plainfield.

—February 9 at 8:00pm—Registration begins for 2012 season.
—March 9—Membership Fees due and greens fees collected
—April 15—Greens fees due
—April 2—Opening Scramble registration begins
—April 22—Opening Scramble at Winding River
—April 30—League play begins
—June 10—IWGL Solheim Cup at The Legends
—July—Night Golf Outing
—August—IWGL Golf Getaway
—September—Closing Scramble

Opening Scramble at Winding River

Warmer weather is here and so is the IWGL 2012 Season Opener. Come join other IWGL members in an 18-hole scramble event and stay for dinner. You won't want to miss getting a sneak peak to the host course for the IWGL night golf event later in the season!

Refer a Friend and Enter to Win!

Do you know someone who plays golf and would enjoy playing in a league? Refer them to IWGL and be entered to win $100! For each referral of a new member, your name will be placed in a drawing for $100. Your referral must be a brand new member to IWGL and she will need to place your name in the “Referred by” field of the Registration form online. She can sign up to be a full-time or sub member of IWGL and there is no limit to the number of ladies you can refer, the more the merrier! Our lucky winner will be drawn at the Opening Scramble!

To be eligible both the current member and the referred member must have paid their membership dues and greens fees (or sub fee) paid by April 15, 2012. Each verified referral will get one entry into the New Membership Contest drawing. There is no limit on the number of entries in contest.
Contest ends 4/15/12, drawing will be held 4/22/12.

The PGA is coming to "The Stick" in 2012

After 3 years at the Cog Hill Golf & Country Club outside of Chicago, The 2012 BMW Championship will move to Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana. From September 3rd-9th 2012, the PGA TOUR's top-70 golfers will gather at "The Stick" to compete in the 3rd event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. For more information, click here.
